Food and beverages are rather expensive in Denmark compared to many other european countries. It is, however, possible to get a decent meal at a reasonable price.

Price examples

A main course at a mid price restaurant costs about 120-150 danish kroner (16-20 Euros)

A baguette with cold cuts, salad etc. at a sandwich bar costs about 45 danish kroner (6 Euros)

A hotdog (bread with sausage, ketchup etc) at a hotdog stand costs about 25 danish kroner (3 Euros)

A large draft beer (50 cl) at a bar or restaurant costs about 50-60 danish kroner (7-8 Euros)

Attention: Service and VAT are always included in the listed price. 

If you go to a supermarket and buy food and beverages, you can eat and drink for about 30 danish kroner (4 Euros). 


The venue for the competitions, Forum Horsens, is placed a 20 minute walk (1,4 km) from the city centre. You can dine at Forum Horsens, if you have bought a buffet ticket in advance (read more). The closest restaurant to Forum Horsens is McDonald's, a 6-8 minute walk away.
