By plane


Direct train connections from Kastrup Airport/Copenhagen. Look for trains to Aarhus, Aalborg and Frederikshavn. They all stop in Horsens. The train fare is approx. 300,- danish kroner.


Bus 925X from Tirstrup Airport to Aarhus. Direct train connection (30 minutes) from Aarhus to Horsens. Watch for trains to Copenhagen/København or Fredericia - they all stop in Horsens. You can also choose bus 212 to Randers railway station - and catch a train in the same direction. 


Bus from Billund Airport to Horsens: Bus 912X. Bus 43 or 143 to Vejle – and direct train connection to Horsens.

ATTENTION: Bus 912X only stops at the motorway exit 56 near Horsens - a 5 km walk from the city centre. It's safe to walk from there - but it's quite a walk with luggage.

We recommend bus 43 to Vejle. The bus runs from Billund Airport every half hour through the day (:22 and :52) - from 8 in the morning to 8 in the evening. Later and earlier it runs every hour. Last departure: 00:22. First departure: 04:22.

Bus 43 stops at the railway station in Vejle. Catch a train to Horsens - they run every 15 to 30 minutes through the day. Look for all trains with the destinations Aalborg, Frederikshavn and Aarhus - they all stop in Horsens. Stay away from trains to Copenhagen, Fredericia or Odense - that's the wrong way! :-)

The bus ride from Billund to Vejle is scheduled to 31 minutes. The train ride takes approx. 15-20 minutes.

Buy a ticket for Horsens in the bus from Billund Airport. The price is 88,- danish kroner. The ticket covers both bus and train fare.     

By train

Direct connections from both Copenhagen/Malmö (Sweden) and Hamburg (Germany).

By car

From Germany: Follow the E45 direction Aarhus/Aalborg. Choose exit 57 (Horsens S), 56 (Horsens V) or 55 (Horsens N).

From Norway or Sweden by ferry (Hirtshals or Frederikshavn): Follow the E39/E45 direction Aalborg/Aarhus/Kolding. Choose exit 55 (Horsens N), 56 (Horsens V) or 57 (Horsens S).
